Find out a little more about the origin of Made to Last and its founder through the interview made for Made to Last Blog.
What is the origin of Made to Last, Lda.?
Made to Last came from the taste for furniture that has moved me for over 40 years. In 2012, during the economic crisis came the need to conquer new international markets as a way to avoid the decrease in consumption experienced in Portugal. There was already the company Móveis Jota Barbosa, which was a store for sale to the public and was directed to the Portuguese market, northern Spain and PALOPS. Then came the challenge of crossing borders and entering new markets, thus creating Made to Last, which currently encompasses two brands, Prime Design and Stylish Club, but initially there was only Prime Design, Stylish Club was created afterwards. It was also at this time that Carla and Samuel joined the company and were (continue to be) a very important asset for the company.
