When the holidays are over, it’s time to start thinking about the upcoming events. The next reference event in the area of ​​Design and Furniture will be the Hábitat 2019 Fair in Valencia. Valencia is on the Spanish Mediterranean coast and it is the third-most populous city in Spain with about 790,201 inhabitants (2016 data). Its history dates back to the 2nd century BC giving it a vast historical and cultural richness. Valencia has many museums to visit and popular traditions to live and absorb. Its traditional “Fallas” parties are celebrated on March 19 so it will be a great time to revisit this wonderful city.

When you visit this town you will have to pass through the biggest urban garden in Spain. It was created after the floods of the Túria River in 1957, to divert its course and avoid the repetition of this event. Apart from this garden, Valencia has much more to visit such as Palau da Música, Ciutat de Les Arts I de las Ciènces.

If visitors are hungry, enjoy the rich rice and vegetable dishes or fish dishes, try the traditional Valencian Rice (Paella).

To accompany the dishes of this region enjoy a glass of Orchata or a Water of Valencia. Valencia is also known for its beaches. Enjoy an evening on the beaches of La Malvarrosa, Cabanyeal, Pinedo or La Devesa.

The event

It’s time to visit Hábitat 2019 and get to know what is best done in the Design area across Europe. This event will take place between September 17th and 20th, from 9:30 to 19h (Spain time). In addition to the companies that will be exhibiting their products, such as Stylish Club (Portugal), there will be workshops and conferences with renowned Spanish Design personalities. This fair has a surface of 45 thousand square meters, 415 exhibiting. In the last edition, Hábitat had more than 26 thousand visitors. The fair is divided by sectors and the entrance is only allowed to professionals. You can ask your invitation to Stylish Club.

The organization also offers a free bus service from Joaquin Sorolla station to the fairgrounds. As for accommodation, Habitat Valencia has established partnerships with some hotel units. They all practice special prices for visitors.
